Three have announced a new version of its popular Skypephone, the Skypephone S2.
The new Skypephone S2 features a larger and technologically improved screen , now having a 2.2 inch QVGA screen. Additionally , the camera has been given a well-needed upgrade from the feeble 2Mp of the original to a 3.2 Megapixel camera.
Major changes to the Skypephone's applications are also in place.
The major improvement to the phone is the email capability it will now feature. The email service is rumoured to cost around £2.50 and works with POP2 or IMAP email services.
Other application improvements include the capability to handle RSS feeds, as well as a built in Facebook application.
The Skypephone S2 does of course feature 3G network capabilities and is rumoured to cost around £70 on Three's Pay as you Go Tariff.
